We’ve been lucky enough to know Christina Binau Bonnor, co-founder of Impression PR and one half of the lifestyle blog The Impressionista, since the early days of Scandinavia Standard. Upon hearing that she’d moved into a new place with her boyfriend Ulrich, we kind of jumped down her throat asking to photograph it.
And we weren’t disappointed. A grey, white and pastel palate mixed with clean Danish pieces (like this Norrmade mirror we fell in love with) and loads of good light made this an exceptionally easy apartment to shoot. We appreciate her love for Danish design – it extends to everything from her furniture to her linens to her tchotchkes. Not to mention Milla the maltese dog. She belongs to Christina’s business partner Terese but, as her godmother, Christina had her for the day and she could not have been better at modelling had she trained on the runways of Paris.
When we sat down to chat about her new place, Christina explained that she and Ulrich looked for months before finding their place. What they really wanted, she said, was to be on the top floor and to build a home together – something they’ve managed to do pretty quickly since they moved in November 2014.
Though she clearly takes a lot of pride in her space, Christina does have a few pieces she particularly loves: the Eames Rocking Chair and the By Lassen Twin Table. I mean, obviously.
