INARI Cosmetics co-founder Sirkku Hahn grew up with the distilled antioxidants and vitamins of the natural Arctic landscape; her mother made flu-combatting juices from the berries they picked in the Finnish countryside.
As an adult, while enjoying a Finnish sauna, she had a lightning bolt moment: creating skincare from the items she had used and benefited from her whole life.
She reached out to Nina Stenberg, who also grew up in the Finnish landscape with a love for nature. Together, they founded INARI Cosmetics, with a goal to use the most potent ingredients from the harsh terrain of northern Finland in high-quality and technically innovative skincare.
The result is a skincare line that’s pared down to the essentials, both in terms of ingredients and the number of products in the line.

The idea isn’t to convince people that they need perfect skin, or to “reverse” the ageing process (whatever that means!), but rather to make skin the strongest and healthiest it can be, while protecting it from environmental elements.
The INARI Cosmetics series consists of a cleanser, day cream, night cream, eye cream, lightweight water cream, and a serum. In theory, it could replace your entire skincare routine as it covers all the basics, but of course single elements can be added into your routine depending on what your skin’s needs are.
The Hydration Cleanser is an ideal starter product from INARI, as it introduces your skin to much of their ingredient line. It contains plant-derived amino acids to soften skin, as well as vitamins A, E, and C derived from cloudberries to maintain cell function, support the skin’s immune system, and brighten skin. Rose root also brightens and evens skin tone. The cleanser is an emulsion, so it feels rich and leaves your skin clean but not stripped.
The Sleeping Cream, a night cream, and Moisture Boost, a day cream, are both highly moisturizing, with the Sleeping Cream offering deep multi-level hydration as it includes three molecular weights of Hyluaronic Acid. The Moisture Boost includes Polyphenols to protect the skin barrier against environmental elements and UV-dmanage.
