Heartland Festival takes place this year from 30th May – 1st June at the idyllic Egeskov Castle (Egeskov Slot) in Denmark. The festival combines art, music, food, and philosophy in a two day celebration that is not your typical music event. Guests spend their time lounging around the estate of a Renaissance-era castle, leisurely enjoying the grotto and supping on meals made by gourmet chefs. Talk about roughing it!
Though music isn’t the only aspect of Heartland Festival, it is one of the biggest draws of the event. With a mix of big names and beloved Danish acts, and genres stretching from classical to jazz to pop to electronica, there’s a little bit of something for everyone.
