Though they’re usually monochrome, Superga has collaborated on colourful and patterned sneakers in the past with brands like Versus Versace, Henry Holland and Del Toro. Now, the Italian brand is teaming up with Finnish fashion house R/H Studio to bring the latter brand’s signature inventive patterns to a pair of feet near you (or, preferably, on you).

R/H Studio founder and designer Hanna Riiheläinen notes that they’d been looking to get into shoe production, so the collaboration with Superga came along at just the right time. “Both of us were looking for something fresh in our collections, so it’s win-win. This is such a good way for us to see how our customers respond to the shoes as well.”
As for the designs themselves, R/H Studio has chosen two patterns from their latest collection – one colourful and one black and white – that represent the brand well, with its sense of fun and slight whimsy, while remaining stylish.
These are the perfect shoes for summer; comfy enough to wear all day and cool enough to take your outfit up a notch.
