Theatre and dance festival CPH Stage is back this year with a fantastic program of Danish, English and non-verbal performances that will scratch all your your theatre-nerd itches.

Next Day
This is part of International Theatre Nights as well as the festival’s opening performance. The play presents twelve youngsters age 10 – 13, all artists of some kind, in an isolated community. Where are they from? What will happen to them? It proposes a kind of creative person’s Lord of the Flies. The play is performed in Flemish with English subtitles.

Stop Being Poor
A thought-provoking look at the Capitalist lifecycle ‘Work-Consume-Die,’ this physical theatre performance pokes fun at the new “cool” office space with chill-out zones and stocked kitchens by examining the underlying anxiety and tension caused by constant surveillance and nuanced punishment.
