There are two kinds of design stores. The kind where you walk in, plop down on the nearest sofa and yell, “honey, I’m hoooommmee (Oprah voice)!” And then the kind where you walk around in kind of an awed silence, gently touching each piece and carefully putting it back in place.
Kollekted by is the latter. Curated by the stylist duo Kråkvik&D’Orazio, Kollekted by falls under the FRAMA umbrella, which means they know good design. The store, in the heart of the Grünerløkka neighborhood of Oslo, has everything from furniture to body care products, all stunningly presented to highlight not only the items themselves, but the space in which they live.
