Studio David Thulstrup for e15: TORE side table
You might know Copenhagen-based architect and designer David Thulstrup as the mind behind Noma’s award-winning interior. Now he introduces his latest design for e15: TORE. The sculptural side table is available in NeroMarquina and Grey Bardiglio marble, as well as solid walnut and European oak in various finishes and colors. Use it as a single statement piece or arrange a few into an architectural landscape.
Ro Collection: Hand Turned Vases
Danish design company Ro Collection is launching the two hand turned vases “Curved“ and “Classic“. The vases are made in grainy clay with speckles and the outer surface is left untreated for a beautifully rustic touch and feel.
Skultuna x Bernadotte & Kylberg: FLWR candle holder
With 400 years of history, Skultuna is a heavy weight in the Scandinavian design scene – founded in 1607 by King Karl IX of Sweden as a brass foundry, it is one of the oldest companies in the world and still a purveyor to the Royal Court of Sweden. Now, Skultuna is teaming up with design agency Bernadotte & Kylberg. The result is FLWR, a candle holder that draws inspiration from Swedish nature. Made from brass, it references the fragile yet strong wild flowers that grow along small pathways during the warmer months. Use it to light up a candle on long summer nights or to brighten up dark winter days.
Menu: Nimbus Table Mirror
No matter whether bathroom essential or decorative element, Menu’s new Nimbus Table Mirror by Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen combines form and function beautifully. The clean lines and airy feel make it fit into every environment. If you can’t decide where to place it, it’s light and small enough to be moved around following your mood.
VARIER x Snøhetta: Variable in new colors and textures
Norwegian company Varier is specialised in ergonomic chairs. As the name “Variable” suggests, the chair is made with variation in mind and encourages subtle movements, making sure that tension in shoulders and neck is a thing of the past. It is now available in 47 materials in a wide range of colors, curated by Oslo-based architecture and design firm Snøhetta.
TAKT: Arc Chair in Oak by Depping & Jørgensen
Founded in 2019, TAKT has made a name for itself with its combination of high-quality design and responsible approach. The startup is one of the few European design brands that is certified as a B-Corp, meaning that the entire business model is committed to sustainability. Now TAKT is collaborating with fellow Copenhagen-based design duo Depping & Jørgensen to reimagine an archetype of Danish design, the Arc Chair.
Montana Furniture: Living Things
With the launch of the Living Things series, Montana Furniture pays tribute to the indoor plant as a key ingredient of contemporary homes. Place the planter on top of a module, on a plinth or added legs, there are plenty of options to stage your favorite plant. Don’t have a green thumb? Just turn it into a bar or display your magazines. Choose from eight sizes in 40 environmentally friendly colors, created in collaboration with award-winning textile and color designer Margrethe Odgaard.
Studio David Thulstrup: NABLA rug collection for Made By Hand
If you have a soft spot for gradients then this is for you: Studio David Thulstrup has designed a collection of rugs for Made By Hand and all four color ways feature gradients. The rugs are made from bamboo silk and New Zealand wool for ultimate softness.
Skargaarden: Kryss Lounge Chair and Grinda Chair
Swedish brand Skargaarden is known for its beautiful outdoor furniture, made to withstand the harsh Scandinavian climate. Bring a breeze of the Swedish archipelago on your balcony or terrace with its most popular chairs. If you like to keep things comfy, then the Kryss Lounge Chair might be for you. Originally designed in 1975 for the Swedish embassy in Cairo, the foldable chair is a tribute to Egypt’s historical legacy. In need of a new outdoor dinner party set up? The Grinda dining chair offers the necessary comfort for long evenings while keeping a minimalist look, thanks to the combination of curved teak seat and streamlined steel frame.
Mater x Carlsberg: Ocean OC2 Collection
Mater is launching its second edition of the Ocean Collection in collaboration with Danish brewery Carlsberg: This time, the design company worked together with Re-Plastic to transform Carlsberg’s plastic beer kegs, instead of ocean plastic, into outdoor furniture. The Ocean OC2 Collection is based on the designs of Jørgen and Nanna Ditzel from 1955.
